We are beta testing a new website and need people to check out the site, sign up, and let us know if they experience any problems. The website is called Autoluxpuzzles.com, and on there you can do simple jigsaw puzzles for free – or compete and try to win money.
What we need is this:
- Sign up on Autolux
- Practice a puzzle or two (they are fun so this is the best part!)
- Fill out the survey
The next three people who fill out the survey will win $25, $20, and $15 respectively. These need to be REAL responses, try writing in the text areas if you notice problems, or why something is hard to understand, etc… You will only win if you provide complete and truthful answers.
Total time investment should be 10-15 minutes MAX. You will absolutely not be charged for anything, and all information will be secure and never sold for any reason.
Open these both at the same time:

In the business world, success is measured by the amount of competition in a given market and how well a company is able to stay ahead of that competition. As the competition moves online, it is even more important to maintain a control over that competition. Does this mean that your company has to revamp its website every time it is faced with competition? Well, of course not. But it is a good idea to update enough to keep your site looking fresh and your information up to date.
As an example, we recently worked with Thought Bubble, LLC on their site. Rather than spending thousands of dollars to redesign their site, we simply made some cosmetic changes, which not only saved them money, but also helped to push them, once again, ahead of their competition. Simple changes in their introduction and header was enough to bring the company back with a “cutting edge” appearance. A little rejuvenation and website TLC went a long way.
When making changes to your own business site, you should always keep the customer in mind. The more attention they see you paying to your own look and brand image, the more they will continue to pay attention. This is the simplest way to keep you and your customers in the loop. In the end, what the customer sees is what they expect to get in service. Make that promise the easy way.

Many new businesses make the fatal mistake of marketing to meet one sole goal: build revenue. Doing this is fatal from the start. Consumers are smart; they know what a business is after, but with the right marketing strategy, they can still enjoy the process of being talked into spending their money on your business.
Marketing is a tricky thing. While YOU want money, the consumer wants to see their money being invested wisely. So make your own investment a wise one. There are many ways to build revenue. And there are even more ways to market that. With the growing convenience of online shopping, it is becoming much more competitive for businesses to survive. While online businesses are extremely successful, they have to be so consistently because more and more competitors are making their way online.
With the customer in mind, you have to think about your business in terms of their shopping experience in addition to their online experience. In a nutshell, you want to be simple, easy to use, and though you could potentially be thousands of miles away, you want them to feel that you are right there to help. With a good experience, you gain a loyal customer.
THAT is where your business goal succeeds. (So make sure your marketing succeeds.)

The aesthetics of your website says almost everything about your company; from the first impression to the final sale. And because of this, it is important to not only impress your potential customers from the get-go, but you have to keep them enthralled in the site long enough for them to realize that your business is what they are looking for. While there are many obvious considerations to keep in mind, like attractive photos and easy navigation, there is one trick that will almost always ensure a successful website: integration.
Looking at the website of Engineering Specialists, Inc. you’ll notice that it has all of the components of a smart online business; eye catching photos, organization, easy navigation bar, etc. But what makes this site stand out even further is the integrated blog that scrolls on the home page. Especially relevant to this company’s market, the blog on the home page presents many benefits to consumers.
First, it provides instant news to consumers, making it convenient for them to see the latest happenings in the market. In addition to this, the scrolling stories help to build urgency in the stories, emphasizing the need for services such as those provided by Engineering Specialists, Inc. Secondly, and to spare the technological jargon, the integrated blog on the home page saves a lot of lost traffic to the site. While this is more important for what is going on behind the scenes for the business, it does keep the visitor to the site engaged; which ultimately builds the company’s brand. Whether or not that visitor decides on that service at that time, there is no doubt that brand recognition will eventually bring that person back for the service.
By keeping the potential customer engaged in the site, integrating certain aspects for better brand recognition is ultimately the game changing play that separates the winners from the pool of competition.

When thinking about dentists, Omaha has many options of places to look. Yet, when it comes down to finding the right dentist for you, there are several things to consider that will ensure a painless visit. One of the biggest mistakes that a person will make when looking for the right dentist is focusing on costs. Yet, we all know that money has to be spent; so by taking the time to research different dentists, Omaha will prove to be a very good resource for quality dentistry. Among the many options, it is a good idea to look for dentists that are not only convenient to your schedule, but convenient to find (i.e. a website like that of New Image Dentistry).
The first thing to look for in a dental practice, besides experience, is the services offered. A simple online search will provide more than enough information on the various dentists and the services offered. There are many dentists, like New Image Dentistry, that have efficient websites that are easy to navigate. Because emergencies happen, the hankering for whitening arise, or simply because it is time for a cleaning, many dentists, Omaha and the metro included, know how important it is to be able to provide all of thee services for your convenience.
Another consideration when looking for a dentist is their customer loyalty and quality of service. Because dentistry is not cheap and because your health is important, you should not be careless in whom you allow to provide this care. Take the time to make sure that the dentist you choose will not only listen to your needs, but that they will work with your insurance and medical needs. In fact, New Image Dentistry is one of the few dentists in Omaha that not only provide dental services, but educate you on the various procedures to ease your mind. No two patients are the same or have the same medical concerns, so it is important that you have a dentist that recognizes your personal needs. When it comes to dentists, Omaha has many options. Take the time to make the right decision and your mouth will thank you.

We were all watching the Super Bowl, and if we weren’t we definitely heard about it on Facebook or Twitter. It’s a basic fact of 2010; we can’t escape social media. But is it such a bad thing?
Branding, Branding, Branding. How people remember your business is a result of how you brand your business. Typically when we think of a Brand, we think expensive, we think big, but we also think reliable. With the right strategy (as it pertains to your business goals) your business can create a brand as big as you want. The sky is the limit. But when creating a brand, you should keep these in mind:
The consumer- ultimately, any business has to face the consumer. If you want to gain customers, reach out to your market. Be unique and be relevant to your market. If you brand it right, they will come.
Your Image- how you are perceived will vastly affect your brand. If you are looking for fun, be fun. If you are marketing to a boring market; well, don’t be boring, but be aware of what image you reflect on that market.
Be approachable- whatever your brand, make sure you can connect in some way with consumers. Your initial connection will draw them in. Your continual communication will keep them around. This will build a loyal brand image.
Keep your own goals in mind- as much as you want to build a customer base, remember what your business goals are. If you are not seeing the results you want; check your branding strategy again. *Warning: Do NOT drop your branding strategy cold turkey! Your brand will forever be tarnished. Consult a professional before any new branding endeavor.

Engineering Specialists Inc was, thanks to Smashwebs, one of the very first to jump on top of the search engines for the keyword “Physical Needs Assessment”.
For those of you that do not know, a physical needs assessment is basically a investigation and subsequent report designed to discover current maintenance issues, as well as other short-term capital items that may need replacement. The investigation determines, based on everything from interviews and inspection, what costs will probably be associated with a particular property in the next few years, and further designs a long-term maintenance and replacement schedule.
For example, should your rooftop HVAC units be replaced with a much more efficient model now or would it be cheaper to wait until the unit actually stops functioning? Etc…
ESI is now starting to have difficulty targeting the keyword as it no longer holds a monopoly on the online sector. As more businesses shift into this line of work…how can they make sure that every time somebody Googles “physical needs assessment” their website shows up?
The simple answer is a company blog! A company blog offers one of the best post-SEO campaign tools you can find, and guess what. It’s free. The catch with this is, however, you still have to be creating these posts with SEO in mind. The search engines do an excellent job of figuring out what to index, but the most important thing is learning how to research what you should even be writing blog posts about. I could go write an excellent blog post right now about my favorite store in America, but do you think I would even have the slightest of chances that enough people would find it to make it viral? Absolutely not!! For that reason you do need to know how to write for a blog – if you want people to actually see it.
